The Entryway Access Check is free, takes about 15 minutes, and results in a window sticker plus a listing in our public directory. Here's how it works, and a short form to get started.

How it works

  1. Sign up using the form below, or reply to our outreach email if that's how you found us.
  2. Choose in-person or photos. Most businesses get a quick in-person visit; if that's not convenient, you can submit a few photos of your entrance instead.
  3. Get your result. We score your entrance against 9 criteria and let you know your tier — Entryway Accessible or Working Toward Access — along with any specific, easy suggestions.
  4. Receive your sticker and listing. Recognized businesses get a physical window/door sticker and a spot in the AAI directory.

Please note: this is a free community recognition program, not a legal ADA or WCAG compliance audit or certification, and it does not replace a professional accessibility assessment.

FAQ

Is there any cost?

No. The Entryway Access Check is completely free, with no obligation.

Is this a legal ADA or WCAG audit?

No. It's a free, informal community recognition program. It does not replace a legal compliance audit and isn't a substitute for professional legal or accessibility consulting.

What if we don't qualify for a sticker yet?

That's common and completely fine — we'll tell you which specific criteria you're missing so you know exactly what to fix, with no pressure or timeline.

How long does a visit take?

About 15 minutes for the entrance walkthrough itself.

Can we be re-assessed later if we make changes?

Yes — reach out any time and we'll schedule a follow-up visit or review new photos.
